FOUR DEGREES COLDER IS AN ALT POP ROCK DUO FROM ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI.
Featuring Jamie Saylor on vocals and bass and Kendal Abeln on drums, the band blends punchy rhythms, atmospheric synths, dreamy textures, and massive hooks into songs that move quickly between vulnerability and explosive energy, all while making music that sounds far bigger than its two person lineup.
Formed in 2019, Four Degrees Colder has grown from an idea between two teenagers into a Midwest live act, with support dates alongside Ripe, Chase Petra, The Criticals, Boys Go To Jupiter, Rehash, and Girl Tones. Their debut album, Nothing To Do, released in July 2026, follows two factory workers secretly living inside an automated factory after being replaced by AI crash dummies. Through that strange fictional world, the record explores burnout, isolation, identity, automation, and the fear of becoming replaceable.
